Like everything else in the world, the rollout of new episodes of All American has been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. But fear not! We will be getting new episodes soon enough. The CW renewed (along with almost all of its shows) All American for a third season, just a few weeks after All American Season 2 wrapped.
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming season so far…
All American Season 3 Release Date
All American Season 3 has an official start date! The new season will premiere on The CW on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 at 8 p.m.
When will All American Season 3 debut on Netflix? The current agreement between The CW and Netflix is that Netflix can premiere the show eight days following the broadcast finale. Therefore, the Netflix debut will follow on January 26th.
All American Season 3 Cast
Daniel Ezra and Taye Diggs will return, along with Samantha Logan, Bre-Z, Greta Onieogou, Karimah Westbrook, Chad Coleman, Monét Mazur, Michael Evans Behling, and Jalyn Hall.
Chelsea Tavares, who portrays Patience, will be getting more screen time in Season 3, as Tavares has been promoted to series regular (via Deadline).
All American Season 3 Trailer
We’re hoping for a trailer soon, as production for the third season started up in late September. There was a temporary pause, following a positive COVID test from someone involved in production, but they started back up again in early October.
All American Season 3 Story
While no All American Season 3 story details have been released, we expect the third season to deal with the repercussions of the reveal that Crenshaw High is set to become a magnet school. No doubt Spencer and his friends will work to try to keep that from happening.
Another big lingering questions for Season 3 to answer? Will Coach Baker be back as the head coach? In the Season 2 finale, he quit his job. Will the resignation stick? And, if so, does that mean Coach Baker might end up as Crenshaw’s head coach? So many football coach question!
